The Incumbent Worker Training (IWT)
program provides funding from the Montana Department of Labor and Industry to ease the cost of training for existing employees in small businesses in Montana with no more than 50 employees. This funding is available on a first-come-first-served basis to businesses that show how each training improves the participating employee’s skill level or increases the business’s market value and revenue.
The IWT program is a wonderful resource for many Montana companies, and Prospera is eager to help local companies secure these funds. However, not all companies, employees, or trainings qualify for this grant.
