LinkedIn isn’t about being everywhere or posting constantly. At its best, it’s a platform for reaching the right people... whether you’re building a personal brand, growing a business, or supporting both at the same time. This training focuses on how LinkedIn actually works as an audience-building tool. We’ll look at the strengths and limitations of personal profiles and business pages, how people discover and engage with content on LinkedIn, and what types of visibility tend to support real connections and credibility. The goal is not to turn LinkedIn into another full-time job, but to use it intentionally as part of a broader marketing strategy. Designed for professionals and small business owners who feel unsure, inconsistent, or overwhelmed by conflicting advice, this session provides clear guidance on when LinkedIn makes sense, how to approach it realistically, and how to decide what “working” looks like for you. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of who they’re trying to reach, how LinkedIn can help (...or not) and what a sustainable, audience-focused approach looks like moving forward.
