Carolyn Murray joins Prospera as the Director of Finance with over 20 years of accounting and securities experience. She holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from Montana State University and is a CPA candidate. Her extensive accounting career includes four years as a corporate tax accountant along with government, non-profit, and private sector accounting.

Previously she worked in the securities industry, specifically fixed income trading and sales. Her primary clients included nationally and regionally based financial institutions, trust departments, and mutual fund companies. Carolyn specialized in analyzing bond portfolios and trading municipal, agency, corporate, and mortgage-backed securities to enhance portfolio performance and value. In addition to holding a Series 7, she was also licensed as a Municipal Securities Principal and a General Securities Principal.

When not in the office, Carolyn can found training and competing in K9 Scent Detection.
