Food and Agriculture Development Center Program Director

Direct: 406-898-2159

Born and raised in North-Central Montana, where Franky's passion for agriculture, ranching, and land stewardship began at an early age. He gained hands-on experience across diverse sectors of the agricultural industry, including commercial ranch operations, regenerative grazing systems, livestock production, meat processing, direct-to-consumer food sales, nonprofit community development, and higher education outreach. These experiences have given him a well-rounded understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing modern agriculture while reinforcing his belief that healthy soils, resilient ecosystems, and strong rural economies are deeply connected.

Franky is passionate about agriculture and land stewardship that supports both environmental and economic sustainability. He enjoys working alongside producers, land managers, and community partners to find solutions that strengthen agricultural operations while caring for the natural resources that make them possible. He values building meaningful relationships, sharing knowledge, and helping connect people with the work being done on the land.

Outside of work, Franky enjoys traveling, hunting, camping, and spending time in Montana's backcountry. Whether he is working cattle, exploring new landscapes, or spending time with family and friends, he appreciate opportunities to stay connected to the outdoors and the agricultural way of life.

Franky earned a Bachelor of Science in Farm and Ranch Management with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Montana Western.
